Recording a mix using djay Pro, a Pioneer ddj-sb2 deck, and spotify I realize this may be a super-beginner question, but I'm just a humble high school teacher who DJs school dances, and I can't make it to homecoming, so I'm hoping to record a playlist to be used in my absence. DJAY Pro is awesome for this, and relatively cheap. Now I either use a DJ pool or if there is some obscure artist track I must have and can only find on Spotify I use FabTune to pull it into a MP3 and keep it local. If you can't do that stuff then you'll never have to worry about playing on CDJ's because you'll never get the opportunity. When DJay announced spotify integration for DJay Pro i thought 'wow.well that'll make DJay the killer app it deserves to be'. What a shame that we can't play our spotify songs unless we are WiFi connected. It's a bit of a nonsense when we can exactly that in the Spotify app itself. Djay Pro does not allow you to record mixes via Spotify. Are there any hacks around this? I've read a few things around using quicktime and a 3.5MM cable to plug in a phone or iPad and record a WAV directly onto another device - can't seem to figure it out though.
